What does "T1" mean?
- T1 is equal to Trade Day + 1.
- You purchased shares yesterday, and the settlement process is still ongoing.
- According to the new T+1 settlement cycle in India, they will be credited on T+1 day, so you do not yet have them in your Demat officially.
Why are bonuses or split shares not visible?
Bonus or split shares that are not visible in your Moneysukh account are typically the result of technical or processing delays. Below is a summary of the most typical causes:
- Settlement not finalised
- Shares in the T2T group or locked-in are not updated or refreshed, and corporate action is still being processed.
How is the buy average affected when shares are sold and bought on the same day?
When you buy and sell the same stock on the same day, the buy average (i.e., average purchase price shown in your holdings) is affected based on what’s left in your Demat after all trades are settled.

What is portfolio XIRR and how do I view it?
The acronym for Portfolio XIRR is Extended Internal Rate of Return. It calculates your actual investment return by taking into consideration:
- Several cash flows (purchase and sale)
- Inequitable investment amounts
- Unusual timings (such as the dates of investment or withdrawal)
Why do some shares have a zero buy average price?
Because they were acquired through corporate actions such as bonus issues, splits, gifts, or off-market transfers—which do not entail a real purchase—some shares display a zero buy average price. Brokers display the buy average as ₹0 because no money was paid to acquire them. This maintains the accuracy of cost-based returns. In certain instances, the buy price may also momentarily display as zero due to a technical processing delay.
If I verify with TPIN, will it sell all my holdings?
- No, you won't lose all of your assets if you use your TPIN for verification.
- A transaction PIN, also known as a TPIN, is just an authorisation step that allows the broker (like MoneySukh) to sell your shares.
- You still need to manually decide which stock to sell and how many shares to sell after TPIN verification.
Why is my buy/sell disabled for certain stocks?
Your buy/sell option may be disabled for certain stocks for the usual reasons listed below:
- Trade-to-Trade (T2T) Sector: Only delivery-based trades are allowed for these stocks; intraday and margin trading are not allowed.
- ASM/GSM/SME Stock: Exchanges restrict stock trading under surveillance measures to protect investors.
- Stocks that have been delisted or suspended: If a stock is suspended, delisted, or illiquid, trading may be forbidden.
- POA, eDIS, and DDPI are missing: If authorisation to sell (e.g., POA or eDIS) is denied, sales may be limited.
- Risk or Compliance Guidelines: Certain stocks may be blocked by your broker based on internal risk filters or account types.
If I buy new stocks, will I have to re-verify the holding again to sell them?
Yes, unless you have executed a Power of Attorney (POA) or completed a Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI), you will normally need to re-verify your holdings before selling them if you purchase new stocks.
