Q. What is In-Person Verification (IPV)?
In-person verification (IPV), as per SEBI guidelines, is compulsory and is a way to verify your identity before we open your Demat or trading account. This allows the applicant, whoever they are, to verify that they are genuine and that the documents they have submitted match up.
Q. How long will it take for my MoneySukh account to be activated?
It normally takes 1-2 business days.
Q. Reasons for the delay in the account opening process
1. Inadequate or Incorrect Documentation
- PAN or Aadhaar missing
- Blurry, cropped, or unfocused uploads
- Mismatched names between PAN and Aadhaar
- Outdated, expired, or incorrect documents (old bank statements)
2. Aadhaar Not Linked to Phone
- Aadhaar-based eSign requires an OTP on the phone linked to your Aadhaar.
- If your Aadhaar is not linked to your phone, then e-sign will fail.
3. Incomplete/Failed In-Person Verification (IPV)
- The video is poorly recorded
- PAN is poorly shown
- Audio and/or video issues during recording
- IPV was never attempted
4. Manual Review Takes Time
- Number of applications
- Review teams must manually verify discrepancies in submitted documents
- Solution: wait 1-2 business days or contact support to follow up.
