What is ‘Pledge’ on MoneySukh?
Using your current shares (or other securities) held in your Demat account as collateral to obtain additional trading limits or margin is referred to as "pledging" on MoneySukh.
In essence, it allows you to increase your trading power or borrow money without having to sell your investments.
What is a margin pledge in the share market?
A margin pledge is a feature of the share market that enables you to obtain additional trading limits or margin from your broker by using the securities (such as stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, Sovereign Gold Bonds, etc.) that are already in your Demat account as collateral.
How much does MoneySukh charge for pledging shares?
MoneySukh charges ₹30 + GST per pledge request for pledging shares. There are no fees for unpledging shares.
What are the charges for pledging and unpledging shares?
The following fees apply to pledging and unpledging shares for MoneySukh:
Each pledge request costs ₹30 + GST for shares. As long as the shares are from the same ISIN (security), this fee is assessed regardless of the number of shares pledged in a single request.
Unpledging Shares: MoneySukh does not charge fees for unpledging shares.
